Ultimate Tournaments

For over 13 years, Zig Zag Ultimate has been running fun, competitive tournaments — more than 20 each year, including indoor events in the winter. Every tournament helps fund our youth programs, from 3rd–8th grade leagues to high school. We had over 500 athletes play this Spring season!

    • You can sign up solo, with a few friends, or even bring a full team. If you’re flying solo or coming with a small group, we’ll mix and match players to form balanced teams—making it a fun, social, and competitive day for everyone.

  • Whether you're a seasoned vet or brand new to the beach, this is a tournament for everyone.
     

  • 🎉 Prizes, surprises, and a mystery box for anyone who pulls off a Callahan!

Join us for the 6th Annual Halloweenfest! We've got flat, lined fields and a beautiful complex. This has been the site of multiple club and college tournaments. Can't ask for a better playing surface or more fun vibes for a tournament!​

Bring a costume, a team theme, and/or come ready for some good Ultimate.

    • Flying solo? Sign up as a Free Agent and we’ll place you on a team.  Get a group of friends together and we will place you together (if you don't have enough for a full team)

We play Ultimate Frisbee year-round and INDOORS. Full Field, full cleat, great turf, at a reasonable time of the day. All great wins when it comes to playing Ultimate Frisbee in the winter.

  • Wednesday December 31st 10am-3pm• Legacy Center in Brighton, MI

Join us for our massive indoor Ultimate Frisbee tournament every New Year's Eve. Four full-size Indoor Ultimate fields at this massive indoor complex. 

 

Full Field, full cleat, and great turf. Then go home and watch the ball drop!

Bring a full team or join one of the four Free Agent team. We expect 15 "put together" teams and 4 Free Agent teams. â€‹â€‹â€‹

Chicago Sandblast XXIV

June 27-28, 2026 @ Montrose Beach in Chicago, IL​​

Ultimate Chicago Sandblast is a five-on-five co-ed beach ultimate Frisbee tournament that brings our community of players, volunteers and spectators from across the country.  Sandblast will offer two days of play, a Saturday night party and a level of engagement focused on maximum safety for all.   

​

Join us as we celebrate year number 24! 

​

  • Merchandise will be returning from Zone Ultimate this year!

  • We will have 2 divisions: Game and Spirit. Game: Pool play Saturday bracket play Sunday. Spirit: Pool Play Saturday and Pool Play Sunday. A bit more shenanigans-focused Game.

  • Saturday Night Tournament Party.

  • Team Food including bananas and water while exploring other contributions for potential partners as in past years.

  • Lunch will be provided Saturday.

    • Early Registration: $750 (available until April 30)

      • $400 Deposits due by May 1st​

    • Late Registration: $800 (starts May 1)

    • Final Registration Deadline: May 15

      • Final Payments due May 30th​

    • Registration may reopen if spots remain after the deadline.
